From hems to complete garment resizing, our tailors are superbly trained and happy to alter any garment, regardless of where it was purchased. Closet Consultations

Our consultants go through your closet each season to help you identify new ways of working your wardrobe. They eliminate outdated, unworn clothes and suggest new items to fill any gaps. They can also help expand your wearable clothes through accessorizing and restyling existing pieces.

SEMINARS AND PRIVATE EVENTS

Let the professionals at Barbara/Jean put on the next seminar or event for your club or organization. 

Seminar examples include:

- Teenage "Beginners Basics" Party: Shows teenagers how to start out on the right foot with basic skincare and color techniques.

- Wardrobe and Image Seminar: How to update and build your wardrobe using the latest styles, as well as skincare and cosmetics, color trends and treatments.

- Private Style Show: The latest in fashion for the season will be shown from casual modeling to major runway shows. Call with your organization information to schedule an event.

- Saturday Morning Beauty Soiree: From 10:00 am to 11:30 am each Saturday, our cosmetic department will take groups of up to 5 and hold a technique training seminar with the latest trends.

Personal Shopper

Too busy to shop? Our professional fashion consultants can learn your size, favorite colors, style preferences and wardrobe needs and do the shopping for you! We will ship your merchandise to your home or office on approval, and you can keep what you like and send back the rest.

ON-APPROVAL POLICY

Barbara/Jean offers its preferred customers an opportunity to shop by mail. Your sales consultant will discuss your needs along with a convenient time to ship you a selection of merchandise. The merchandise is then shipped to you overnight at your expense. These charges will reflect the number of items shipped and the appropriate insurance charges. If you have a Federal Express number or UPS number that you prefer to use, we are happy to use them at your request. All selections sent to you that do not meet your approval must be returned overnight shipping, properly insured within 24 hours policy so that out inventory can be restored in a timely manner. This package has been carefully crated in order to protect its contents. We appreciate your cooperation and your business.
